What is your check-in and check-out process?
Upon arrival, new guests will complete a quick check-in form. Returning guests will be promptly checked in by our friendly front desk staff. When check-in is complete, you will be able to pick out your polish and then be escorted to your chair for your service. After services are completed, payment and gratuity will be processed at the front desk. It’s super easy and efficient!
Do you take walk-ins?
Whenever we can accommodate walk-in services, we do! But our books tend to fill up in advance, so we strongly recommend booking an appointment in advance. Luckily, booking an appointment online or by phone is quick, convenient, and easy!
How do I tip my nail tech?
Gratuities can be added to your credit card at checkout, or you may tip your nail tech through the Venmo app or with cash (which is preferred!).
What is your cancellation policy?
Our full cancellation and no-show policies can be found here. But here are the basics:
You may cancel or modify your appointment up to 24 hours before your appointment, no problem.
Less than 24 hours’ notice is considered a “Late Cancellation” and will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service(s).
If you do not cancel your appointment or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be considered a “No Show” and charged the full price of the scheduled service(s) plus 20% gratuity. For Key Club Members, the services booked will be redeemed in full.
Appointments that are booked within the 24-hour period are still subject to the cancellation policy.

What should I do if I’m running late?
In order to offer our guests the best experience, we encourage all clients to arrive 5-10 minutes early to ensure there is plenty of time to check in and your service starts on-time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we will need to shorten the length of your service time. This often means skipping the massage portion of your service, unfortunately. If we have to adjust or shorten your appointment due to a late arrival, you will still be responsible for the full-service fee of your originally scheduled appointment. If you are running late, please call us at (916) 285-5713 to give us a heads-up.
What should I do if I am not feeling well?
To maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff, we ask that if you are sick (which includes a cold, fever, flu, allergies, etc.) or have the onset of symptoms of an illness, that you reschedule your appointment according to our cancellation policies. If you arrive for your appointment with visible symptoms of an illness, we will not be able to provide service, and a same-day cancellation policy will apply. (So please, don’t risk it!)
What is the Green Circle fee all about?
Our partnership with Green Circle Salons ensures that the waste produced at our nail salon (including nail polish bottles, plastic pedicure bowl liners, disposable tools, foils, soiled cotton swabs, etc.) stays out of landfills and is actually turned into clean energy. To sustain this premium service (which we feel is essential), all visits incur a $3 Green Circle fee. To learn more about Green Circle Salons, click here.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, we do! You can purchase/send a digital gift card here or come into the nail salon for a physical gift card. (We offer free gift wrapping, too!)
Do you offer acrylics or any kind of extensions?
We do not apply acrylics but
Why don’t you offer dip powder?
For safety and sanitary reasons, our nail salon is acrylic-free, which means dip powder is not a part of our offering. Unfortunately, we cannot remove existing dip polish.
Why is nail art only available with gel polish?
Gel polish is thick and cures quickly, making it the best bet for executing nail art in a precise and timely manner. It also boasts longer wear, which means you’ll be able to rock your look longer!
What will I find in The Nailtel Minibar?
Just like a great hotel, we offer to-go beverages and snacks as well as a curated assortment of sundries and gifts for purchase. We’re happy to wrap any gifts for free, too!
